Needing to do a pole mount dish installation at my campsite. What all equipment do I need and where is the best place to get it?

Hoping pole mounts work okay I know these these things are big wind catchers. I don't have many other options really besides a pole.

Because I have absolutely no other structure to mount it to. Only a camper.

Height requirement for line of site?
Are you always at the same site or does it change?

The non-pen mount can easily be moved (as compared to a pole buried in the ground).

Look at the non-pen mounts in the other thread. See what you think.

Next comes questions about the equipment you're taking to your site.

    # Tv's?
What DIRECTV receiver(s) will you be using?

I saw the non-pen mount. I don't know what I would mount that too.

I will be taking an H24 or H25 and only care about 1 tv.

The non pen mounts sit on the ground and you put CMU blocks on top to hold in place. Allows you to move it later if necessary.

For antenna, LNB and power supply, someone else will need to answer that.

But I think Solid Signal has tailgater packages that includes everything you need to hookup your receiver.

Another site to check out is TV4RV.com for possible options involving a portable tripod setup. They are also great at answering any questions you have and helping you get what you need.
