Possible new TiVo UI

    The interface looks nice, but there sure is a lot of white space (well, “blue space”) and small fonts. I can understand skimping on font size when trying to show a lot of information, but they could easily double it here. Even the icons are small. Honestly, I can do without all the “cute” stuff traditional to TiVo – just give me solid functionality.

    It does look a bit like it was designed for the PC, doesn't it? As if the user would be sitting up close, not using it from across the room?

    I can't recall if the article stated it: is this new GUI intended for a se-top-box or for a PC app? Or does it not say?

    It seems pretty decent for what is shown. I definitely want to see more and see how it functions. I hope it is faster then my old Tivo. The one thing that I noticed was the nice little slider bar for the content at the top. Apparently you can adjust how much of what type is displayed at the top. My first action would to slide the bar all the way to the left for the Advertisement bar!
