I am considering switching to Dish, and I am having a really hard time trying to understand the connections with second TVs. I will have 4 rooms to include:

    Family Room: HD
    Master BR: SD
    Den: SD
    Second BR: SD

From what I understand I could do this with 2 DVRs-1 HD & 1 SD. How exactly do you make the connections to the second TVs? Is there a document somewhere that shows the options in wiring setup? I haven't been able to find one.

The secondary runs are usually a coax from the receiver to the second tv.

Or could be composite (yellow/red/white RCA). Either way, consider it as roughly equivalent to 4 single-tuner boxes.

There are many diagrams on the TechPortal under the Install menu.

The easiest and standard way of running dual tuner receivers is to diplex the line , do a search on diplexers and you should find everything you need they look like splitters but work totally different
