I currently have a 522 and two 510 receivers. Would my monthly bill change if I switched one of the 510 receivers for a 522 that I purchase( then I would have two 522s and one 510). Assuming that I have both 522s hooked up to a phone line. I have AEP so there is no DVR fee. :stickman:

$5 a month less since you would save a mirror fee:)

Nope, because he's only switching out ONE 510 for a 522. No bill change.

He could sell his 510 to make up for a lot of the 522 cost.

I have - 522,510,510- all leased. I want -522 and 510- leased; and a 522 I own. What would the change in that Bill be? I realize that I would be adding a tuner.

So long as the new 522 is hooked to your phone line, there would be no change in your bill at all. However, you will need an upgraded switch to give you 5 tuners instead of 4. Since you have a 522/510/510, you either have a DP Quad or a DP34. You would need another DP34 either way, or a DP+44 with a DPTwin to use the DP+ Seperators. If you have a Dp34, it might make more sense to go with the DP+44 and sell the DP34. This way you only need 1 line from the dish, and won't have to run a new line from the switch.

    522 - $4.98 DVR
    510 - $4.99 AOD/ 4.98 DVR
    510 - $4.99 AOD/4.98 DVR

    522 - $4.98 DVR
    522 - $4.99 AOD/ 4.98 DVR
    510 - $4.99 AOD/4.98 DVR

Delete the DVR fees is you have the AEP.

Keep in mind the 510 will have to be returned, and you will need to keep a DP34(if it is what you have and you go for a DP+44) for return to E* if you quit leasing the other 2 receivers.
