You probably got a firmware update. Network settings and TV Apps sometimes take time to intialize after a update. Give it a few hours to reset. If VOD is still not working run a system test. If you do not receive any error codes go to More System Info. Scroll down to Network and check your settings.

I run the System test, Diagnostic Code 43-72-822 and the same message:
"There was a problem connecting to DIRECTV. Retry in progress. (85)"

    I miss my Anime Network...

    Give DirecTV a call.

I don't think that Directv Latin America offers VoD. That could be your problem.

I had the same issue, and after resetting the dvr/router many times to no avail, it now has "magically" started to work again! It looks like our equipment was never the problem!
