Slanderous words! lol :coffee
OK, I'm off to the salt mines (work). Not going to stay too long though.
I'll check on status from there.
That's a tad more than my DIRECTV bill!
I've had to switch to McDonalds which actually isn't bad at all.
well i get free dtv so i can use that defense with the husband, but i still can't walk away from my starbucks, I love all coffee, but starbucks quad shot venti mocha is the best thing coffee wise since the french press. (and i like bk's joe better than the mcd's stuff)
I'll have to try the BK (there's one of those on the way to work too).
I will be in and out of here today. It's going to be sunny and in the 60's here today and near 70 tomorrow. So, I am going to be doing alot of stuff outside and enjoy the nice warm weather finally. Come on Spring!
So, I will keep checking back and see if this problem has been fixed.
So, while we are waiting for this to work. I wonder if we will ever be able to see these recoded video over the internet on our laptop while traveling? (similar to slingbox) or if that is a copyright issue?
I can think of other reasons why DIRECTV might not want to allow this. It is also possible that it would be a Copyright issue since the remote program can be different than the on-screen program. It is also very likely that it falls under fair use if only one PC can access the DVR at a time.
I don't know if DIRECTV will every allow it or not, but for me that would be a killer feature.
I have noticed that you cannot access the GUIDE (to start a recording) or Live TV. Those would be nice additions.
Yes, I agree it would be a killer feature. Also, the guide and live tv would be awesome.
No HR20-700 software here yet. I've downloaded the PC side and will be installing shortly.
