I am way behind in this area so was hoping to get some feedback here. Tomorrow I am getting the HR34 installed along with two HD receivers for the remote TV's. What is the most efficient/effective way to push HD content on my PC to these TV's? This HD content is 1080p60, does that limit my options?

Load TVersity on your PC and use MediaShare on your HR. Works with a lotta gotchas.

And one of these would be the lack of 1080p/60 output, wouldn't it?

I still have TVersity loaded and running and many different formats have worked for me but some have had different results.

I've switched to Apple TV / AirPlay / iPad / AirVideo / movies on PC. Includes TRICKPLAY.

I basically gave up on this and went to a popcorn hour box for every TV in the house. They still have the widest codec support and play just about everything off my FreeNAS server.
