A look at my recent transactions...
My billing cycle ends on the 22nd, so I'll take another look then.

My account was migrated to AT&T a few years ago and I also received STMAX free last year. I also have the Premier package. Under "My Addons" it lists MLB EI & Cinema both at $0.00 which is weird because I still have two payments left on MLB EI so it isn't free. I have nowhere to see "My Sports Channels" my only option is "Want more channels?". When I click that button it takes me to a page where the only things I can add to my account is "MOVIES EXTRA PACK" and "Dog TV". There is no option there to add any other add-ons at all. No NFL ST, NBA, Hockey....nothing else. It appears I would have to call if I wanted to order NFL ST as I cannot find anywhere to add it online.

Yup, typical AT&T. Not only do they excel at turning gold into lead they also have a tendency of turning simple tasks into trigonometry.

Recently had to go back to Spectrum after moving into my new condo, because I effectively can't have a dish here. This is one thing I definitely won't miss, although over the years I had virtually zero problems with AT&T. Even then, it always seemed like a huge runaround to get anything done.

I got it free last year, and I am on AT&T billing. On my main page, there is a tile saying 2020 and 2021 at no charge, but when I go to add programming, Sunday Ticket Max is available to add for $395, and nowhere on my programming or bill indicates 2021 is upcoming. Also, channel 112 shows unsubscribed.

I had it added to my account free last year, and noticed the 0.00 line item added for it the other day. So I called and talked with Customer Loyalty Group and they said it was free again this year just for being a loyal customer. I am still on the old DirecTV billing system. I definitely am not complaining!

I just went to channel 112 myself. I'm assuming if I am getting a black screen and no message saying I'm unsubscribed that I am subscribed, right?

    Hi, A M.

Had it free last year, and when I hit Channel 112, I get this slate:

You are all set to enjoy 2021 NFL SUNDAY TICKET every Sunday.

I'll keep checking my bill, because I won't be paying $395 for the 150 to 160 games I don't get with network and cable.
Especially, when all I want is Red Zone !

I see the same thing on ch 112. When I click Info and then More Info I just get an icon that says 2021 NFL Authorization Slide. I think that means I am NOT subscribed.

Same here on 112. Customer since 1998, prior I had the Big Ugly Dish. Man, I miss the days of unscrambled Sat TV.

I just checked channel 112 and got the same message. Called one of the numbers and spoke with Ashley and she confirmed a loyalty gift for 2021 season for Max. Entire call took less than five minutes

I just checked mine also and it says I have it for 2021. I didn't even have to make a call, I like it. I had it free last year also.

Keep checking your "My Programming" and "Recent Activity" pages.
For me, both show ST Max, priced at $0.00.

If that changes, I can cancel anytime on or before September 11 for a refund of any charges made.

I received Sunday Ticket free of charge last year as well. As of July 11, my account also lists "My Programming" and "Recent Activity" with NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX 2021 HD - Charge at $0.00.

I didn't have a lot of confidence that it would be free for me this year as well, but I opened a chat session with a DIRECTV rep, and was told:

"I've checked your account I see that you are getting NFL Sunday Ticket MAX promotions on your account. You will not be charged for NFL Sunday Ticket. Please be rest assured.

NFL Sunday Ticket Max is free for the coming season :)"

We'll see if it works out that way, but a DIRECTV rep did put it in writing in a chat session, so I have that going for me. :)

September will be interesting for me. We'll see if I am supposed to get NFL ST for free and my $60 off per month will expire. I have no interest in playing for ST any more, so if I get it for free that will be a bonus, and with all of the available entertainment options, I don't really have an interest in paying $60 more per month for DIRECTV than I have been.

I have had DIRECTV for about 20 years, but I am willing to make a change now if needed. I said the same thing last year, but DIRECTV came through with ST for free and $60 off per month for a year.

I know some who post on this board are offended by people asking for discounts, but AT&T / DIRECTV isn't a charity and if I can get a better deal elsewhere I will. ;)

    Agree completely.
We all negotiate on cars, and a million other things.
    Why not DirecTV?
The offended people who don't ask for things are actually a blessing in disguise to those of us who do.

FWIW, I looked at the season's 18 week schedule, and at a minimum, the Las Vegas market will get 118 of the 272 games on network and cable. I'd guess most markets are withing 2 or 3 of that 118 total.
    That's 43.4% of the season!
And that means anyone who pays full boat for STMax is paying $2.53 per game for the other 154 games.

If one buys STMax to ensure they see their favorite team's 17 games, that's $23.23 per game.

One step further... there are 2 ST "windows" every Sunday, 36 for the season, meaning each window costs $10.97.

I'm a football fan with no team affiliation.
There is no way I'd ever pay $395 for a season, but I'd happily pay anywhere up to $100 for Red Zone.
