My old remote control (RC66X) quit on me today and I had to get out my newer remote. It's a RC-71 and it works fine except I cannot find the turbo button like on the old remote. This is a feature I use all of the time and I would hate to lose that functionality. Is there some way to bring up that screen with the new remote or am I stuck without it.

I wish I knew what a turbo button was. None of my buttons are labeled turbo!

I’m guessing he is talking about turbo tune... but it would be nice if he had clarified... :)

The up arrow on the wheel of buttons around the Select button is the Quick Tune. Maybe that is it ?

My bad. I meant turbo tune. For some reason it wouldn't work at first but when I went back it worked fine. Turbo tune or quick tune is pulled up by pressing the up arrow above the select button. This shows nine channels that you can set up and quickly go to that channel without using the guide or keying in the channel number. I have several channels I watch most of the time and I use it all of the time. Sorry about the incomplete post.

That jumps you to a 9 spot banner. You can then choose the channel that you want in what spot. You need to be on the channel that you want to put in a spot. Then use the arrow buttons to move to the different spots, use the Green button to Park the channel on / in that spot. When you are done you will have a Quick access to 9 channels.

Haven't wanted to use that in years, as I record everything I want to watch, or select a live show from the guide.

I mostly use it during NCAA basketball tournament season to keep the various channels carrying the games close at hand.
