Receiver power consumption

    Actually the sleep mode starts about 5 minutes after you put the receiver in standby manually.

    Somewhere in the thread what I meant by sleep mode drifted. I meant the Power Saving mode would be de-activated by putting the unit into standby. And by standby I meant "off", though it's not really off..... clear, now???:hurah:
    So is sleep mode a term also used for the so-called Power Saver? Or when the screen saver comes on?

    It will go into Power Saving mode after 4 hours in standby (no savings above the 1-2 watts you save in Standby vs. On). I have disabled Power Saving because I see no advantage to it whatsoever. I guess I really don't understand how this can qualify for the Energy Star label. :confused:
