I've created a timer but the program interrupts what I watching at its broadcast-time. How can I record the program so I can watch it when I want to watch it (at some future time)?

    What receiver do you have?

I would setup the timer to use tuner 2 (the SD one). Then , you can watch what you want on TUNER1 (the HD outputs), and your timer can fire on tuner 2 when scheduled. Don't worry about it being in HD - if you selected an HD channel, it will be recorded in HD.

Is "tuner2" the same as "TV2"?

How do I setup the timer to user tuner2?

Tuner 2 on a 622 is NOT an "SD" tuner! The TV 2 output is SD (if you are using the 622 to feed a second TV), but the tuner can and does receive and record in HD.

I know that - the OUTPUT of TV2 is SD. The tuner itself (and also my reason for saying it doesn't matter) IS HD (assuming the channel selected is an HD channel). I've used a 722K and a 222K so I know how they handle this.
