We have answered this same question for you many times. Why do you keep asking it over and over again? Folks here are becoming reluctant to answer your questions.
I think a certain individual is yanking everyone's chain with the constant questions. He certainly doesn't deserve a Batman and Robin icon. LOL! :rolling:
I have a USB 3.0 micro B to Micro A on my external drive. If I buy an adapter to adjust it to connect a Esata cable will this work for my DVR? I was reading somewhere else that it has to be native Esata and that converters or adapters will not work..... Does anybody have any answers or tried it this way?

Update to my question before......about Esata. My external hard drive is on a dock that is Micro B USB 3.0. I called up BestBuy and one of the store personnel told me I can take it off the dock open the drive to treat it as an internal hard drive and buy a dock mount the hard drive on it and that the output would be Esata. Will that work for my genie DVR expansion??? Thank you for your responses.

Thanks for the help RunnerFL. Much appreciated. I didn't want to waste my time and end up going back to waste more time to buy what I wanted in the first place.
