Any way you want to count them, it's still a large number of employees needed to solve what's really a minor irritation.

I hate the way most of the program descriptions are written since the "new" EPG provider took over. They make things up rather than getting correct descriptions from the channels.

Series description for "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" on Comedy Central -
"An irreverent skewering of the news and pop culture with South African comedian Trevor Noah, who took over for Jon Stewart when he left the anchor desk after 17 seasons."

How many years does Trevor have to live in the shadow?

As for "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" - "Steven Colbert host a late-night talk show." That's it. At least they don't mention Letterman.

The actual episode descriptions seem better. But many series descriptions need help.

Another "gem" from the EPG provider -
The series description for the NASCAR XFINITY Series lists the star as "Danica Patrick". No other people are shown. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series has no stars listed.
(Danica ran one Xfinity race in 2014, two in 2013, last running full time Xfinity season in 2012. Danica ran her last Cup race in 2018 after five complete seasons 2013-2017 in Cup.)

Add me to the list of complainers. The guide mess is something new, over the last couple of months. Ok, fine, I can see reruns getting occasionally getting flagged incorrectly, or some data-entry errors every now and then, but it's really bad. I see dozens of listing with such great info as 'Episode 37' as the description. And, those always show up as new. Looks like someone or something is just taking the episode number from the "S3-E37" tag, dropping the season, and stuffing it into the description. This is totally useless. I do also see a much higher frequency of the description taking about a completely different episode, even though the season/episode tag is correct. This is getting way past "minor issue", at least for me. OTOH, I've had a guide problem that's easily duplicated that's existed ever since I switched to a Hopper. Shows up on the Joey, too. Dish has apparently decided to never fix that one. It's a real pain. (Open the regional sports pseudo-channel, regional shows up. Click on it, get taken to a totally different channel. Scroll the guide, big blank area. You have to open, scroll to get the big blank area, scroll again to move it offscreen, then scroll back twice. Now it works. But I digress.)
