    I know someone who had a professor that was a classmate of his. That person said he'd been told by the professor that Andy was always a gentleman, but this sounds like it was before he was anybody.

    It sounds like this was expected. He died around 7am, and buried before noon at the request of the family.

    Today's Charlotte Observer had three pages of coverage about Andy. There's no doubt that he was a beloved son of North Carolina. To the residents of Manteo, he was considered to be family. He quietly supported numerous charities throughout the state.
