    Here's the link.

Long story, short; Roku on Monday notified its users via email that YouTube TV may be forced off its platform entirely, alleging anti-competitive demands from Google that include requests for preferential treatment of its YouTube TV and YouTube apps.

The article does not state when the agreement ends, or how soon the app could be removed from the platform, if a new agreement isn't met.

I'd say Roku needs YouTube more than YouTube needs Roku, though. (Remember that a ton of YouTube viewing happens on mobile and computer. Roku isn't as important to them as it is to most video apps.) Hard to see Roku dropping it.

Im betting that is why Google incorporated YouTubeTV into the YouTube app, which should have been the case all along really.
