Now it is done, I've sent it on the Stuart for vetting (and those who sent me a PM).
Nice. So when is the dbstalk first look get posted? I'm assuming we can all discuss smwline in public after that?
Yeah, let's wait on Stuart Sweet, he needs to vet it amoung the Moderators and then I think it is up to DirecTV when it gets released. But, based on the new logo (top of you screen on the left) I'd say it will be sometime real soon.
allright Smiddy, I sent you a reply. Nice job on it.
Thanks man...it is now being reviewed by the powers that be...
should have put this forum address on that Directv install paper
wonder how they are doing?
If they are anything like me, right now, then they are feeling no pain. SMOKE, what's up?
Thanks everyone for you inputs, I have tweaked it a bit and am resubmitting it to the great moderators.
it looks and reads great ! I wouldn't change a thing........Good job !
I've looked at it and with minor revisions, am sending it on for further review. Great job smiddy!
Thanks gents! Now it is a waiting game...sooooon, anon, yadda-yadda!
I don't have any word yet...soon is the best I got folks.
SWMs should be available nation wide by Aug 13.
But a bit of bad news, most, if not all of the external SWM switches have been delegated for commercial and MDU acct types
Supply versus demand! I would expect that these SWM ODU LNBs will be the ones used most for private home dwellings anyhow.
I bet you're right. Since the SWMLine is limited to 8 tuners, it wouldn't be much good in an MDU setup.
Yes, plus I think a FNG (Firgg'n New Guy) would likely do a standard type install, four receivers one being an HD DVR and the rest being standard IRDs. Then later they will figure out they need more and more and more to do more and more. More is good, yes?
Too much is never enough.
Well, I may miss the big First Look. I'm starting vacation tomorrow and won't be back until Memorial Day weekend. If I miss the party, save me some cake.
Have a good time!
