Round 2 folks, what box are you testing?

    Looks like all the HR24x units show up as HR24-500's, even those that are HR24-100's....

    Still...WOOHOO. :)

    Seems like the -100's get picked on but I have 3 now and it looks like a 4th coming I am happy to get it. I don't have any problems with the -100's.

    Likewise - I also have 2 -100 Thompson-built units - never had a problem with either one. The performance on them is solid as well.

    guess I should have held out for the -700 so I had a matched set :p

    Not a BIG Thomson fan, and my experience with the HR20-100 was not a pleasant one to say the least, since it broke within a week or two of getting it, but every company can have a lemon every now and then, so no complaints about a -100 from me.

    I really didn't like my HR20-100 either...i sent it back after I recieved the HR20-100 for field testing way back.

    Directv's site still shows my Field Test R22-200 as an "HD-DVR HR21-200" and my H24-100 as "HD H21-100". Oh, and my R15-500 has a picture of an R16. :lol:

    Yeah, I think that's for if a CSR happens to see your account they won't get freaked out about seeing a receiver model that doesn't exist.
