Sinclair has a filing that said they were receiving rebates from the leagues for unplayed games and would be giving rebates to their providers. Some of the rebates were paid last year and a portion will be paid this year. Not sure that will trickle down to the customers.

I was promised RSN rebates last year from DIRECTV however they never materialized on my bill.

DISH gave customers the option (one that had to be explicitly exercised) of free Multi-Sport Pack for five months -- March 1st through July 31st.

I never got my rebate either. Paid $9.99 every month last year, not 1 cent back.

My RSN fee is $9.99 per month, and today I checked my bill.

    Lo, and behold!

On April 16, I received a credit of $11.17, with the ledger item, SportsAdj.

$119.88 in RSN fees - $11.17 credit. Sounds .... fair?

James, you're right, but even $11 is better than a sharp stick in the eye!
Which is what we usually get!

I also downgraded today from Premier to Choice.

3 months ago, I was given a $60 per month credit for 12 more months of Premier.

Amazingly, they did not take that away when I made the downgrade.

I now have my $11.17 credit. I wish I could see the formula they used to come up with that figure. The formula should have been $119.88 - $11.17 = $108.71 CREDIT
