Is any one experiencing pixelating and jumpy on channels, like ESPN, ESPN 2. It seems that it is only on Satellite 99ac. I know it is that time of year that the sun effects satellites.

Same here in Memphis where the biggest football game in years (maybe you watched CollegeGameDay from Memphis this morning when everything was fine with satellites) on ABC. My antenna is not very good at all and wanted to record this too. Anyone knowledgeable about this issue know how long it usually lasts?

looks like DirecTV is having a major failure with that satellite.

edit: the SD version of the affected channels aren't affected by this satellite failure, so you must watch in inglorious SD for a while.

Same thing here in Birmingham, Alabama. And probably not related, the local CBS station went out here within the last 40 minutes with the "Pardon the interruption, do not call us" message.

    CBS is back on now.

I am experiencing the same thing on all of the same channels. It started after the 1st quarter of the NC State-Wake Forest game on ESPN. I am glad it's not my LNB or connections after the pounding of rain and wind the northeast received this Halloween and the day after.

My CBS station in Memphis is perfect. Was thinking it is on a different satellite than 200 stations. In fact, all my locals are working (knock on wood). I hope ABC works from 6:30 until around 11pm (long game)

Albuquerque checking in: Same here, numerous channels.

When the problem started for me, I was actually behind my equipment rack troubleshooting a completely unrelated issue, and I thought surely I had somehow dislodged the sat line.

I’m seeing the problem on one of my DVRs (HR 44/700) but not on another (HR24). Curious.

That is interesting. I'm seeing it on all 3 DVRs: HR44, HR24, HR22.
