Following in the steps of U-Verse TV and HBO Go AT&T has decided to discontinue WatchTV.
    • No one can sign up for the standalone $15/mo WatchTV plan as of today.
      • If you currently subscribe to the standalone $15/mo WatchTV plan and cancel your account on/after today you can not re-activate your account.
    • Only existing subscribers and those who have Unlimited &More or Unlimited &More Premium who haven't redeemed their WatchTV benefit can still redeem this benefit now.
    • The AT&T Unlimited Elite plan no longer includes WatchTV with the launch of HBO Max since WatchTV is no longer necessary to redeem HBO benefit.
      • Those who have AT&T Unlimited Elite on/before May 26, 2020 and redeemed their HBO benefit through WatchTV can keep the WatchTV benefit with the free HBO+HBO Max add-on.
      • Anyone signing up for AT&T Unlimited Elite (or redeeming their HBO Max benefit as part of this plan) on or after May 27, 2020 only get HBO Max.

That makes Sling Blue now the lowest cost source and streaming source for most of the Warner linear channels. Although certain content like Friends reruns which are on TBS can be viewed on HBOMax.

And fubo, albeit priced much higher than AT&T Watch TV and higher than Sling Blue but more luxury in streaming space, just announced its dropping the Warner channels in exchange for adding the Disney owned channels.

Lot of activity this summer with changes to the streaming services.

Sling and Hulu Live seem quiet.
