Scoreguide would be really cool if it were on all channels and during playback

Glad it worked for you. I was watching the Hockey game the other night, Did not work at my house. It did on the RSN's.

This is the same problem with Media Share. They will need to address it before putting it across every channel.

Amen to that! Scores aren't difficult to find, but the standings are a different matter. I suppose the MLB wouldn't let Directv do the standings this year with the MLB Network around.

That doesn't make sense. Are the standings available by pressing the red button when tuned to the MLB Network?

If you have EI, the standings should be a part of that package, like they were in previous years.

No no no no no! Unless they can fix the problem capecod mentioned, then I'll be okay with it.

Personally, I am not a sports person and would rather see the feature tailored to each channel (like up to minute news headlines on the talking heads channels and recipes or whatever on the Food Network...)

Make it useful to the rest of us!

I'd rather see the scores via a Widget...on demand anytime on any channel.

I love the scoreguide, and I would love it on all the channels. I rarely use the media share stuff anyway, it's way too sluggish. I can use my PC to look at pics and flip on the receiver to other sources to listen to my music. Anyway, I would LOVE to see them add other functionality to the Scoreguide, like box scores and things like that. Sort of what YES interactive has.

And here's why the scoreguide is pretty useless. With one click I can see scores on sports websites. Or better yet, on my cellphone while I sit in the living room watching TV.

I don't see how those things make Scoreguide useless.

I can check the sports scores no matter what channel I'm on. Can't do that with Scoreguide. And with the problems it seems to give some of the non-DVR receivers, I don't want it to do that.

The problems on the non-DVR receivers will be fixed soon. But right now, for example, I have Scoreguide minimized with the Mavericks/Nuggets, while watching the Red Wings/Ducks. My computer or cell phone can't put scores in the corner of my TV screen.

With the argument you're making, why even have a score bug during sports programming? If people want to know the score, they can look somewhere else.

While all of that is true, wouldn't it be convenient to see this on your TV? Unless I am at my computer, I can't see those scores, and it costs me money to actually surf my phone. Not everyone has unlimited minutes or a laptop with easy access in front of your TV. What might be useless to you, is a godsend to someone else. The concept of scoreguide is great, and I'd love to see it expanded.

There is another major problem with scoreguide. It only happens on the non DVR HD boxes on my H21-200 & H23-600 if the TV is shutoff while on a sports channel and later try to turn on my TV's the TV's say Mode Not Supported and I cannot get any picture. If the box is on I turn to a non sports channel and the picture comes back on. Then I can change to a sports channel again and the picture comes in even with the scoreguide active.

If the box is on standbye, I have to turn it on an change to a non sports channel first and then turn on the TV's. It took me awhile to figure out what was happening. My HR21-100 DVR is not affected.

How do I let DirecTV know about this problem the CSR was useless could not understand what the problem was. If the scoreguide were to be put on all channels for me that would be a disaster.

DirecTV knows about this problem, and your receivers will be getting a software update soon that will correct it.

OK Thanks, I only saw the mini guide problem mentioned and did not know they also knew about this.

This score guide is driving me crazy, the delay is ridiculous after a while and then it starts affecting the quick guide. Anyway to completely disable it? I like the basic idea, but I switch a lot on channels like 619-620-621 and the delay is ridiculous after a while, due to the scoreguide. And then you hit it too many and it goes flying by about 5 channels. I hate it!
