Last night while trying to watch the Mississippi State vs Auburn SEC Tournament Game Channel 611 & also while changing the channel to ESPNU Channel 208 I noticed both channels screens were messing up. That is EXTREMELY Aggravating when trying to watch games. What the hell is DirecTv doing to these channels? Also every once in a while my local CBS Channel will do the same thing. I have no connection or signal issues either because I check my signal strengths. That’s aggravating as hell to try and watch tv when this happens and it is getting to the point where I am getting fed up with D*

I noticed breakups on ESPNU last night during the short time I was watching it.

H23-600 Receiver. Screen was Freezing the images up for a second or two every few seconds for the entire game. It stopped when the 2nd game of the night started on the SEC Channel. But for that entire first game like I said in my first post Mississippi State vs Auburn was unwatchable.

If the bottom line was OK then they may have had an uplink problem from the game site.

I just hope it doesn’t do that for any of today’s games. It’s hard to watch a game like that & it shouldn’t happen.

Your assumption that you have "no connection or signal issues" based on checking signal strength is incorrect. It is very unlikely Directv is screwing up SECHD, ESPNUHD and your local CBS station in the way you describe, or there would be a lot of threads about this. Not all issues will make themselves easily apparent with a quick look at the signal strength screen.

Solar outages are only for a few minutes, and you lose signal completely when it happens. Directv receivers put up a message when it happens too, at least in my experience. If you have just the one receiver, it may be defective, though it could also be the LNB or cable especially if you notice problems only during certain weather (sunny/warm, foggy/wet, etc.)

It was happening in Tennessee last night. A quick search on Twitter shows that several people had a the same issue last night.
