For those of us sitting at our computers at work, can those who have access to DIRECTV let us know if and when SNY comes on the air. One hour to opening day................and counting.

Someone posted on another site that SNY and D* have agreed to an interim deal (Games Only) while they finish the talks regarding a full carriage agreement.

If that's the case, although I want SNY full-time, I'd be perfectly fine with that. It's more important that I see the games...

Nothing yet. Pregame coverage is live on Cablevision, but not in HD. HD coverage scheduled to start at 1pm on CV.

Isn't Directv giving a free preview of MLB season pass ? Couldn't people watch the Mets that way ?

No, since the game is on SportsNet New York, which D* doesn't carry, they don't provide the game on Extra Innings. The opposing team is the Nationals and they're on an OTA channel today, which isn't part of Extra Innings. As for ESPN, it's blacked out in the Mets Territory.

It's hard to believe that SNY is tougher to negotiate a contract with than the YES Network but Yankee fans saw opening day that year and us Mets fans get to see the DIRECTV logo.

I was able to get through to SNY about 20 minutes ago, and they confirmed they do not have an agreement in place with D*

If anyone cares to let SNY know what you think about that... I was only on hold for a few minutes.

This is why I pay to have both D* and CV service. It's ridiculous, but at least I'm able to watch the game today.

Just got off the phone with an accounts supervisor from Ohio. Basically, they thought they had a deal and SNY came back with something else and they pulled the deal off the table. He told me to call SNY. I did and SNY is not answering their phones. Gutless people at SNY.
