SOS ... need login help with DirecTV iOS app

    Hey all. I’m having login issues with the DirecTV app on my iPhone out of the blue. Whenever I try to login I get an “unknown error” message and get redirected to the App Store to download Uverse. Sometimes I get a “whoops ... you’ve entered an invalid character” message.

    I’ve never had issues like this. My Att and Directv accounts are combined and I’ve been using the same login and password for years.

    Anyone have any ideas? I’ve done the basics like uninstall/reinstall. My username and password work fine to login into my accounts on a web browser.

    The app on my iPad is working fine. I really don’t want to log out to see if I can log back in.

    Anyone have any ideas to try? I really don’t want to have to call them unless I’m out of options.
