I was thinking the exact same thing when you posted first.

My H21-100 has actually been solid...where's some wood to knock...

    Middle...
My HR22-100 has been solid as a rock, aside from the same general slowness affecting most of the models. :)

I love my HR21-100, which seems to in the minority of the -100 crowd but it's been solid as a rock.

Actually...so is my HR21-200. Not one significant problem since day one...and 95% as fast as the HR20-700's.

I'm gonna keep peeking to see what the H24 "vintage" end up being...

You and me both...but, unless the new Broadcom chips are backwardly compatible, based on Doug's site and the software build there that is similar to the others, it may be an older chipset. I hope not, but still...

Personally have two HR21-100, One sucks, the other is "fine" And until now I just thought it the weirdest thing, how one could be such a paper weight and the other a lot more solid. But it's not just ME!!!!!!!!!!

My H21-100 on the other hand isn't bad.

So I guess I got the short end of the stick getting all -100's, watch... HR24-100 on my doorstep when it arrives :D

HR20 and HR21 have different chipsets, same 0x3xx level number with possible different code under the hood, may be fine.

My guess is the H24/HR24 units will have some new "innards"...maybe on the network or video side (MPEG-4)....at least I'm pretty sure we won't be going backwards....

Ebay? Heck, where I work, I can get some really sophisticated items that can get invasive without leaving a mark. :p
