When you switch to a streaming provider, cable provider, or that other satellite provider, that still carries it. :(

Any RSN now controlled by Sinclair Broadcasting - probably never.

Give it time Dish's contract for Sinclair's O&O locals + Tennis Channel has to end sometime. Sinclair will then demand Dish carry all RSNs plus their O&O locals & Tennis Channel just like they did to Spectrum, AT&T/DirecTV and Comcast.

How did take it or leave it work for AT&T with HBO?

HBO is a tad bit different than local channels. HBO and Cinemax have alternate ways to get the programming via streaming which nets AT&T more money. Eventually locals come back (sometimes after 8 months) but eventually they come back. People tend to revolt in greater numbers over locals than premium services. I doubt Dish would completely drop Sinclair's locals forever if they tie them to carrying the Fox Sports, YES & Marquee RSNs.

Dish also removed the Multi-Sport ad (the one that stated "Over 35 channels...") from the Game Finder app with a recent software update. So, as sports return, it is increasingly clear that Dish has no intention of carrying them.

Sad news in my opinion. The current Pandemic and the kneeling controversy makes this easier to take. If this were a regular year, however, I would be very upset and possibly looking for another provider for my satellite needs. DISH seems to be losing more and more channels that other sources provide. That does not bode well for DISH subscribers.
