If this isn't resolved by the next season, cancellation of NHLCI is very possible.

The lost of the MSG HD games plus no HD from Canadian teams makes the NHLCI look very unattractive to me.

I think I'll wait for that 1st week free preview to see if they're actually carrying MSG HD. Even if they are, once we pay there is no guarantee it won't get yanked again like this year, so renewal of NHL CI is doubtful for me at this point.

Rangers-Caps series- Games 2-7 on NBC or VS., but game 1 Wednesday is on MSG; get ready to be pissed at Dolan all over again when it is not avaialble to CI customers in HD.

well, i guess i watch the caps feed and listen to the rangers. And even though a lot of the advertisers are local, some are national and I generally catch up to real time on the dvr late 2nd period, so whoever is advertising, they miss my eyes in the 3rd

I guess I am lucky as CSN DC is one of my RSNs, so as long as they do the games in HD, I can watch them in HD. I'd much rather watch these on MSG HD, though.

    Here we go again...

Less than 24 hours before the game begins the DirecTV for iPhone App is showing both the Rangers and Devils game as not blacked out on MSGHD and MSG+HD. Usually if something was going to be blacked out it showed up as such long in advance. Given the short time frame though between the schedule being announced, added to the guide, etc. it's probably a fluke.

I'm a Center Ice subscriber and sports pack on D*. In the 700's on the CI channels everything is currently "to be announced". Will I be able to watch the game on MSGHD? Or even regular msg?

I usually record the games overnight so I can actually watch in HD on MSG, but all overnight and to the next morning there are no replays scheduled. They're just showing Knicks in 60 like 4 times.

Nothing is showing up in the Guide either online or on my receiver either. But if the App is showing the games as not blacked out there's a good chance you'll be able to watch them in SD if nothing else. Another option is to do a manual recording for MSG.

So far there are no overnight replays showing up on MSGHD for the game tomorrow night though.

I just checked my guide again. 770-1 and 771-1 both have the game listed to show in HD now.

    There is hope..

edit - just noticed that the Devils game only has 1 HD feed

For the Rangers and Devils they are showing the MSG HD feed. Now, I know we've been fooled before, and they've taken off the HD feed at some time during the day, but since they just put them on this morning, could this be a sign of good things to come? And, if so, I'm sorry that this will be the only Rangers game on NHL CI.

All my CI says is no title available. I'm assuming there will be no MSG HD or MSG+ HD feeds at all, so that means that the Carolina-New Jersey series is gonna be SD only for CI subs...good job NHL and Dolans!

I guess that settles what game I am going to watch, no SD when HD is available.
