Status update

    I lost my caller ID. When I went into diagnostics it reported no connection. Checking the counters i found this line ( Last status update 4/14/098 11:44 AM.)
    status error 0x00:12

    The caller id log indicated that the last call loged was at 10:47 AM.

    Rebooting did restored my caller ID.

    Does anyone know what "last status update" does ?

    Have you already done the obvious? First check to see if the line isn't dead? Plug a phone into the end of the cable that goes to the DVR to see if you can hear dial tone.

    He said rebooting restored his caller-id. He was wondering about the counter.
