SWM-8 in place to replace the SWM-5. The "boots" on the connectors are nice - gives it a better comfort for outdoor installation.

Antenna connected - success using a diplexer thats about 10 years old!

The 3rd HR20 is now happy to have both tuners activated.

    Thanks again.

hey guys, before i install i have a quick question. I accidentally got 4 splitters with all ports power passing. Im pretty sure this is bad as i am putting the SWM in parallel with a WB616(also powered).
    any suggestions or comments?

Shouldn't be a problem if the bandwidth is sufficient. (and the inputs are aligned. Note the order of ports is different...) :)

Most power passing, wide bandwidth splitters have diodes to prevent power issues. (maybe all of them do?)

    Cheers,
    Tom

Doug - any news on the SL3S yet?

No pressure :D - just a great day in Iowa today (65 degrees and sunny)...I found myself wishing I could be dismantling a dish :)
