I can have a couple up and running.
I can login, but it's won't stream here. I am at work with a T1 line.
Stressing the system.
Air and www
At 10:07 AM got a lock-up on the WWW; AIR ran without a hitch. Running both simultaneously on a Dual Core E6850 w/ 4gb ram. WWW client is via Firefox 3.0.1.
Does the web client require a log in? I was surprises when my work computer just let me in, I have never used it on this computer.
it did the same hing to me at first so I uninstalled it and the second installation asked for my email and pw......wierd
Just had the wife bring up the AIR client. Sending her the link to bring up the WWW client on the same laptop. Will try to remember to vote after 3PM
I turned on the WWW client again about a half hour ago. Clicked on the imaginary Vikings/Cowboys game on the left side and I got the Brewer game from last night! Now how in the heck am I supposed to work????
Is it at all beneficial to DirecTV to specifiy how many streams we're running?
Ok finally got the www client to "work" It took a while and loaded a commercial. Then I got the following error code DRMerror. Then back to commercials. I am at work so I won't be able to stress the system today. Tommorrw with the help of TS Fay. i should be home to help with this test.
I just started one AIR and 4 www at home on the same machine. No problems right now with stuttering or choppiness. All five streaming well. I could only find two channels with content to stream so three (including the AIR) are streaming the RDZ channel and two are streaming the BAL/BUF game (although it's not the game, looks like racing) I will leave these running until I get home tonight.
I will try a WWW client at work but not sure if I will make it through our firewall.
Looking good so far. 3 Browsers running WWW Client and one AIR Client.
Edit: Now only 2 Browsers running WWW are working correctly (Safari just quit working), I'll post in the applicable thread.
Got the air client running, and the great news is that it behaves properly with multiple monitors. I can drag it from screen to screen without problem.
It appears that only limited feeds are active right now, so I guess it is not a problem that I do not get anything playing on many of the "games". Red Zone seems to be the most consistently active, so I'll leave that on.
I have two streams running at the moment, AIR on my main PC and web on my laptop.
Just tried starting a second instance of AIR and it did not work. Appears you can only have one session running at a time (on a given PC).
I am able to run the AIR client and the WWW client at the same time on the same PC, on different monitors. That's cool.
Looks like I can only run one this afternoon (1.5mb dsl) It'll be the air.
What channels have content Im getting nothing
Boy I sure hope the poll didn't have the PT designation and the ET times in parentheses when I voted too early (and probably incorrectly) earlier.
I started AIR around 1 PM ET, but it never loaded, and still just has the initial screen and a spinning wheel. It could be the little WiFi link they give the public in the Patent Office, though. I am also running a www version, which seems to be working fine.
Okay, now I've got two web instances and one air instance running on the same pc on different monitors, plus an air instance running on my laptop. All seem to be working just fine.
ISP is Comcast cable modem.
I have content on Minnesota/Dallas, Baltimore/Buffalo, Kansas City/Oakland.
Atlanta/New Orleans . Chicago/Philadelphia and a couple of others are running an "HD SPORTS" moving logo on a blue background with music.
Got air and web running on my home machine, appears fine but since I am connected to it via Remote Desktop all I can tell you is the picture in both air and www appear to be changing constantly.
Starting AIR on 2 wired PCs WWW on WiFi PC.
