I ran one AIR and one WWW clients on one machine. Just left them alone to do their thing. Came home and they were both still running. Shutting them down till tomorrow. I did vote yes.
Folks .. Please remember for the Stress Testing, we are not testing stuff on our end .. DIRECTV is doing things on their end and whatever tweaks they make may affect what you are seeing .. Our testing begins tonight when the San Francisco Forty Niner's take on the Chicago Earls (er, Bears) .. So no need to report issues in the Air/WWW/Mobile threads at this time.
All we need to do is crank up the streams and let 'em roll.
Doug, obviously you weren't running on my computers. I was stress testing them too.
And I am learning some interesting things about them. And should time permit, will be tuning them before tomorrow's stress test.
hmmm...well i can start the apps for the game but if it is not
over before 1015pm CT i will have to leave them run....(have
to report to work )
I wasn't able to stress test today
Is it worth starting a poll indicating how many PC's people are using and how many sessions per PC.
Would that be of any value?
You knowlike I have 3 PC's running 2 sessions each or something like that.
started the www client at 1300 MST I'm at work (lunch).
I suspect the posturing you guys are doing here is good enough
Ah, point taken
twice during the test the AR clinet just froze, no audio or video. As of 5PM today nothing is streaming at all
Posturing? I'm informing to help.
This is posturing:
Now back to our regularly scheduled posting...
Mine were running fine until 2:09 PDT when I had to shut them down - have to leave and take PC with me.
Yeah, yeah .. I'm not at home so I could really be cranking it, but I've got other things that do need to work running on my computer
You of all people don't have remote control software? :eek2:
I use remote control stuff to save my lazy butt from having to run downstairs to my server
Remote control software? Server?
Here I thought I was cool because I have two ancient pc's in the house. I ain't much.
Today was the first time I noticed the AIR client did NOT freeze up during streaming.
How do you think I started the one client?
