I'm am an AT&T installer who is new to dtv, I had an issue today I was unable to figure out. I activated 3 tvs and on the fourth I can get to activation screen but no matter how many times the activation is sent is does not move forward in the install process. Any ideas? Bad box maybe. I took it to a working location and had same issue. Any info would be greatly appreciated

what is the card number doing?

Truthfully if you took it to a working location it would be a card or card reader issue if the card is inserted correctly.

Card number and RID should both be complete. If not, try reseating the access card.

Pull card in and out until it shows AC card number on screen. Sometimes you got to push hard up and down. (refurbs are wonderful) If it doesn't show up swap box.
