Try to get a redound after like $150, say that the season hasn't started and you don't want to have it because it's to expensive...
They are going to give you a discount, but talk to retention

Well I tried to get the 1 year ext.free ticket, No luck they said it wasn't available in my area. So I was able to get a one time payment for max at $199.95. Not what alot of people on here are getting but I was happy with that.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give them a call during the day and see if I can get the deal. They had told me last time that I couldn't get a deal until it shows up on my account. I guess the time to call is now.

I just called back and confirmed that I am also getting the ST Max for free. On top of that, the Rep (who was very cool to talk with) also threw in Free HD for the next 12 months. So essentially, I've gotten ST & ST Max, HR34 + Whole home with installation for free + $20 credit. What a deal!

I thought "Free HD" was already included as long as you were enrolled in auto bill pay. Is this not the case?

It wasn't when I signed up for Auto Bill Pay. I have never gotten the free HD before.

So I had Sunday Ticket autorenewed (which I didn't want) and was going to start getting charged for it (it was already on my bill) so I called and had it deleted, which they did. A week later I called back to get the Sports Pack added and inquired about Sunday Ticket Max, there was still no deal so I declined, but they offered my Starz free for 3 months which I took. However, under my recent activity and it shows NFL Sunday Ticket Max on there, with no charge, and it's listed under my current sports as well. Not sure if that means I'm getting it for free or not.

OK I have just researched the Packers schedule for the first time, they do not play Tampa Bay at all this year. 3 Sunday night games this year and one Monday night.

Also was trying to cancel NFLST and now Im keeping it for $24.99 for 6 mos for standalone.

Maybe Tampa Bay Bucs can sell out the high schools football field and then I can see all their games...lol.

I too got these line items on my recent activity today. I too last week got NFLST free with 12 month committment [but was told MAX would cost $100 or 4 payments of $25 and declined] and got letter to confirm. It think this means free MAX, but if it doesn't, I have no problem calling after it is billed.

Hell, I might just keep it.

I called to see when I will be billed, and they said it will be starting in August or September. Ill check to see how my finances are doing, but I may call them sometime before then to see what they can do in order for me to get a kick ass deal.

I called yesterday and was transfered to retention just because I asked if a deal was avaliable. I was able to get free Max without to much discussion. I might have been able to get a better deal, but I've gotten a lot of discounts from D lately and I thought $200 for the package was fair so I took the deal.

I'm just confused because I didn't sign up for any Sunday Ticket this year, I called to have it removed, which they did, and just asked what deals were available and declined. I certainly didn't agree to a 1 year contract extension. I might have to call to sort all this out.

Happy with the deal I got, but I purposely waited until after my statement processed on the 9th to order this. Now my account is showing this is due by 6/28? Not a big deal, but had I not looked and just let it auto-pay on 7/9, would it have shown me as having a late payment?

I was offered NFL ST for $99 (4 payments of $25) and accepted. Today, I noticed this on my bill. I called to confirm and I they said I am signed up for Max at no extra charge. I even called back to speak with another rep and they too confirmed this. He explained it to me that if you are signed up for ST they are giving you Max for free this year (regardless of what you paid for ST.)

I would think most people who call in and order will get ST for $199 and will be happy with getting Max for free. If you got ST for $99 or even free that is a steal!

I am new to the whole Sunday Ticket experiance. Directv gave it to me free this year for a new sign-up.

What range of channels will the games be shown on?

Is there any advantage to spending the extra $100 for Sunday Max?

Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.. Thank You

    GO PACK !!!

For Max, if you want mobile access or Red Zone Channel, yes. Otherwise, I would skip it. Things certainly have changed, you used to have to buy Max (or Super Fan as it was called) to get games in HD.

Point is, just about anybody who wants it and asks the right people (And asks in the right fashion) is getting ST AND Max completely free with 12 month committment (and if you still have 12 or more months on your contract, no additional term). So nobody who pays $199 or even $99 should be happy. And if they read this forum, they should call and get that taken off and try (And try again if they fail) to get it completely free.
