Why doesn't GameMix have the BAL/SD game?
Probably didn't sellout.
The game did not sell out. As it cannot be viewed in the SD area, there is no game mix for the game.
Oh yeah....you're right.
In that case, they really should have a 2 window format when necessary.
There was two games (Bucs and Chargers)missing from the mix channel today, almost a 3rd (Miami).
D is just lazy, they take our money and could careless about fixing the problem, a problem that is only getting worse.
NFL rule, not directv problem.
You would be wrong. D chooses not to fix the problem for us who do not live in the blackout markets.
Name one way to "fix" it besides a total blackout of the mix channel in the affected markets, markets where since they're subscribing to Sunday ticket they most likely don't care about their local game, just so you can see that one game in a tiny box.
There is no problem. Period. You get the game. If you want to see it, watch it. No problem.
We've been through this before.
Create two or more GM channels when this happens. Just that easy.
No it isn't.
How is it getting worse ?
In 2010 there were 26 blackouts while this year there has only been 9.
Also the bengals game was not sold out so how was that on the mix channel ?
I actually went to the game and if you're a Chargers fan, you are fortunate to have been spared from seeing this game. Unfortunately you will be seeing Ray Rice highlights all week on ESPN.
The game doesn't need to be a total sellout anymore...it can be 85%
That's only if the team opted-in at the beginning of the season. If a team chooses the 85% threshold, they must give more money to the visiting team than if they went with the 100% sellout rule.
The Bengals gave more money?????
Bengals opted to stay at 100% as only these 4 teams took that deal:
so the bengals game was blacked out.
4TH AND 29! :eek2: TO WIN THE GAME
The JETS would have stopprd him!
The CHIEFS would have stopped him!
The JAGS would have stopped him!
Even the RAIDERS would have stopped him!
How SOFT are the CHARGERS?
Game mix doesn't need to be fixed, something needs to be fixed with NFL teams that can't sell out in markets like Miami, San Diego!
