Any time the Superbowl is on will be Prime Time. 3:30pm Pacific time (4:30pm Arizona - 1:30pm Hawaii) seems early enough.

    Oops.

I wonder how much east coast based television affects the west coast. Nationally broadcast events need to start at times compatible with the east coast and (more importantly) end at a reasonable east coast time.

It's an idea, but the problem is that there are fouls that aren't called on almost every play. If they overturn the no-call of pass interference, do they also go back and look and the line of scrimmage and call the facemask of Donald? Or maybe there were other holds that weren't called.

When the Rams lost to the Pats in Super Bowl 36, 17 years ago, there were a ton of no-calls that benefited the Patriots. The first TD was an interception of a Warner pass where he was hit in the face by Mike Vrabel, which caused the pass to sail off-target. There were a bunch of plays where the Pats got away with illegal contact or holding of receivers downfield. And on the final series of the game, they didn't call Brady for an obvious intentional grounding. In the end, all that matters is that the Patriots got the win, not who benefited the most from the officiating.

You also have to consider that the officials may have been told to "let them play" in these postseason games so as not to mar the games with too many penalties. Nobody outside of the league offices knows for sure, but it's possible. In any event, the Saints were not robbed. They benefited from a number of no-calls, just as the Rams did. Those are just the breaks of the game.

I assume the audio dropouts in the halftime show were removing the bad words. People who forget they are on TV?

I noticed the introduction to the halftime show was playing on the scoreboard screens during the end of the halftime report - so they had a LONG time delay for editing.

Did not see this kind of game coming. I expected a shootout. Didn't think the Pats' defense was that good. But the Rams got to Brady early and he doesn't like getting hit. All in all we enjoyed the game especially the last quarter. Thought the Rams would at least tie the game and we'd get some overtime.

Edelman got the MVP award, shame that stands for Most Valuable Player, I thought Belichick was the most valuable Person in the stadium. Tony Romo has been doing an outstanding job in the booth, really knows what's gonna happen.

Tony Romo was the best part of that game...

I was not happy but also not surprised with the outcome in any way. The old guys (Belechik and Wade) dulled the day with experience. The newbies didn’t are the changes that they should have where Garrett did. It will come in time and I expect the rams to be stronger for it next year. Sometimes people grow faster when they lose the year before if they have the right kind of drive to be great overall.

I have heard talk of Romo becoming a head coach. Smart guy. I hope he stays in the booth. As the game went on every time I saw McVay he looked stunned. Wade and Belichick have always been great coaches.

Boring game until fourth quarter, mostly boring commercials, and I completely skipped the halftime show.
