2007? Holy crap, and I have been writing 2009 on all my checks!
What's a check?
LOL, can't blaime me if their site hasn't been updated in that long for certain sections...LMAO
I straight copy and pasted the info straight fro them....
I have since edited that portion out of my post however to avoid further "confusion"....
Have you viewed NFL games via that link? If so, I was curious what the quality was like. I prefer the CDMA technology that Verizon and Sprint use, so I don't plan on getting an iPhone with AT&T. Instead, I might get one of the named phones and try accessing it with this method.
Anyone have any idea whether the app will be using the HD or SD game feeds for the mobile app?
Thanks, I didn't know this was available
so im confused...do you have to have DirecTV and the Sunday Ticket to watch the games on the iPhone, or can you just pay for an app to watch the games??
You have to have DirecTV service and subscribe to nfl ticket sunday and superfan pass in order to receive the games on the net from computer or via any cell phone including the iphone.
The app itself will be free for the iPhone; but you still have to comply with the above.
they need to make an app for blackberry users.
The TOUR is comming out for the CDMA carriers so that will give those mobile providers a better blackberry.
so according to the D* website D* mobile does not work on blackberry?? it only lists windows mobile devices..
I still say Sprint will mount a lawsuit, since they pay the NFL money to be the exclusive provider of NFL Mobile.
Is sprints contract up with the NFL?
So those of us who get ST & SF and own a Palm Pre are out of luck -- although we currently get live NFL Network 24/7 for free on our PRE?
This is just not right.
You are mistaken, sir. The NFL app is going to be released for the pre in the next couple of weeks. There is an announcement out there.
Here is a link:
It doesn't sound like you will get the SuperCast Mobile which is the live video feed of the games. It appears you only get the audio for those games.
"NFL mobile live allows you to get live audio of every regular season game, Live video of certain NFL Network games, and live NFL Network video 24/7."
You are correct, RACJ2, this is NOT the Sunday Ticket on the PRE.
This is my first post - I am new to Satellite. Just became a DTV customer 3 months ago as I moved to Pittsburgh from NYC and simply cannot take the incessant Stlrs and Pens talk 24/7. Got my MLB Ticket (unbelievable how much HD there is compared to Cable) and just got my NFL Ticket with Superfan. I must say, a bit pricey, but haggled with them and got it for $200 including the Superfan.
I came across this site earlier and did a bit of research, and check it out....I have the Tour, this is gonna look incredible on the newer BlackBerry's.
Check out Directv's Tweets on Supercast for BlackBerry.....looks like they are launching the app after "Labor Day". The You Tube demo of this looks sick...wow, I am seriously so glad I dropped Comcast.
its on its way. Check out m . directv . com / supercast next week after the holiday weekend.

Welcome to DBStalk! Yes, you will get a lot more sports in HD on DIRECTV, then you ever did with cable. There is another thread that has a link to the demo of Supercast Mobile. It looks like it needs the new 4G network that is coming out, since its not as clear as you would hope.
cool so there is a blackberry version!!! thanks for the info
