I previously had two HD-DVR receivers with Whole Home DVR Networking. The first is a HR-24, the second is a HR-22 with DECA. I've been sent a free Genie from Directv (HR-34) and it will replace the HR-22. I hooked up the DECA unit to the HR-24 for Internet networking and it is not registering with the unit. The two receivers are also not "talking" to each other for Home Networking capabilities. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

The Hr24 has built-in DECA. What you need for Internet is a Cinema Connection Kit (CCK)

Actually, if the OP has a HR34 near an Ethernet connection, they can just plug that in and no DECAs or CCKs are needed.

Thank you! Isn't the Cinema Connection Kit run through wireless internet only? I'd like to continue with direct wired internet through my DECA. Any ideas?

For ideas, yes: pop an ethernet cable onto your HR34 after removing the CCK and the external DECA.
And, no, it's not only wireless for the HR44s, but the 34s have no wireless built in.
