At least there is a episode next week and that wasn't the end of the season.
you got that right
Holy crap I missed this thread. Hope that bruise is healing up VOS.
The "yellow" has turned to Black & Blue by now, but I can now walk fairly well. :hurah:
sorry VOS....i just now came across this.....
glad to hear you survived the fall....
count your blessings... last oct. i was on an 8' step
ladder & fell backwards off about the 4th rung...
shattered my ankle really bad.....
have had 2 surgeries since the initial emergency surgery...
one in march & the other just today to remove some
hardware that had become a bit loose...
good luck recovering
Boy did I get away lucky compared to you. Black & Blue is the worst of it, of course I went sideways and there was no chance of trying to "catch myself". It was somewhat like "laugh in" where the guy on the trike just tips over.
OUCH...rest easy and have a safe recovery...
Whoa, did they give you anything for the pain? I hope all is well now, is it? :eek2:
didn't intend to hijack your thread VOS...sorry bout that...
anyway thanks for the well wishes.... & yes i am getting around
ok...but i can always feel some sort of pressure & aches in that
ankle....going to be 50 in a few days & i must be getting a bit brittle...
& i drinks lots of milk...always have...
My only working LNB just died.
8 days and my at-9 [old faithful] just packed it in.
Zero TV right now.
1 failed SWMLine
2 bad out of th box Slimlines
1 "packed up" Side car [after eight days back in service].
All have been reverified as Tango Uniform.
Service call due Friday 8-12...
Add falling off the ladder...
I'd stay inside if I were you.
4 LNBs go TU? What are the odds? Something is hosed somewhere.
if two of them weren't "bad out of the box", I'd agree.
SWMline failed in service, but the receiver can still "read" the firmware [bad LNB].
The AT-9 worked fine for 18 months on & off my SWM8. Died today after eight days back on my SWM8. why?
The "other two" Slimlines were also connected to my SWM8, but never came online [DOA out of the box]
All have been checked & rechecked with a [even tried 2] 20' coax from the dish to [several] receivers [that have been tested also on my neighbor's phase III].
man sorry to hear this again , sounds like some of my bad luck rubbed off on you
good luck with the service call
I have two Slimline lnb's here if you need one. They are both new! i also have a dish to go with them and mono poles.
Thanks for the offer.
Todays question is: which would get here sooner, an LNB from the east coast, or the Ironwood Tech that is to be here between 8-12 tomorrow?
No TV really sucks.
LNB from here. FEDEX is guaranteed by 10:30 AM. IRONWOOD is not
I have one here in Arizona.
FedEx over night from [anywhere] is at least $60. Seems like I might need to count of Ironwood. :eek2:
Oh no, Mr. Bill (old SNL).
so how is a defective SWMLine being handled in terms of replacement? I would imagine Directv would love to see the defective to determine what the cause was.
