Don't know why, but I kind of enjoy this stuff. Haven't even seen it all, yet.

    Sharknado, yeah.

I'm still working on Sharknado 2: The Second One. Surprises, including fun (and trying to be funny) cameos. Plenty of not-so-bad acting and bad plastic surgery.

I've got a collection of more of these SyFy shark-* titles I haven't viewed, yet. Looking forward to those, as well.

In case you missed it, The Second One re-airs, Saturday 8/2 at 7:00pm EDT, followed by the premiere of Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda.

I have a friend that says it's the stupidest thing he's ever watched. Yet he says he still wants to see Sharknado 3 next year to see if they can reach new lows.

Some of my Mets friends are crying in their beer over Citi Field being used in one. I say it is free product placement that's going to be seen over and over again as these movies get shown again and again every time there's a shark craze.

Absolutely!! Long live the shark movies!! :)

Some advice for those that haven't watched many of these yet. I've found that if you get a few of the guys/gals over and have enough really cheap beer, the movies get better and better.

The key is CHEAP BEER!! No fancy labels as they ruin the ambience!! :)

True ... if it was good enough for the people writing these movies it is good enough for the people watching these movies.

Maybe bad TV series, too? On second thought...

Don't know if it's true, but Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda is allegedly directed by Roger Corman (as if it's supposed to give it some sort of credence?). We'll see. Also supposedly contains a nastily-disposed-of Conan O'Brien cameo.

It takes a special kind of bad movie to make the beer trick work!! :)

That's because you need the scenes that just don't match up, like in the first Sharknado where the water in the house is waist high, but when they leave the house the driveway, which is lower, is barely wet.

The more scene glitches, the better for the beer crowd.]

When watching Sharknado 2: The Second One, note the continuity errors outside of Citi Field. (Hint: trees.)

Well, now. That was some stupid, silly silly fun! (Both flicks.) In The Second One we even had DirecTV "product placement" (a conspicuous SL-5):

In case anyone missed this year's lineup, there's still time this weekend to catch some (including Sharknado 3) plus a few others (both new and used). Check your guides. Enjoy!

I'm wondering if Sharknado 4 will be the last one.

Not sure if order really makes all that much difference. I thought first was "better" than The Second One, (if that's even possible with these shows) and have no expectations for 3. I'm probably gonna re-watch [Sharknados] (or at least parts of them) anyway.

But I don't feel the need to see 2-Headed again before watching 3-Headed. For some reason I guess I just remembered that one well enough.
