When Bobcat Goldthwait was ask why they were making Police Academy 4 he said there were still some unanswer points.

Ps. I just remember the quote. He said "tie up some loose ends".

I think all these (Police Academy) are available on Cinemax OD except 4. Otherwise, 1 - 7 (DirecTV). If there is/was a 4, it's not in this lineup for some reason.

Ok. Granted I've accepted the premise of zombie sharks in Zombie Shark. But why do I have such a hard time with the concept of a marine radio working without any connected power or antenna? Not even a rubber duckie or a lantern battery. Guess it's just not that much of an audience stretch in this pod/pad/smartphone era. There must be cell towers or repeaters all over the middle of the Gulf, and the radio contains its own lithium ion battery.

BTW, the storm threatening everybody was never ever depicted (except on TV radar).

    My my, such schlock... :)

Well, shark schlock week is back, starting bright and early Sunday morning.

Looks like the newest ones premiere during prime time, and the week ends with a Sharknado marathon Sunday the 31st (ending with The 4th Awakens on Sunday night).

We'd seen so many ads for the various Sharknado movies that we decided to watch the first one with our neighbors. My husband & I had a blast. The movie is MST3K worthy so we did our part :). We are set to record the others this week & will have White Russian milk shakes & popcorn ready next weekend. Can't wait :).

All of the Sharknado movies are a hoot! So dumb, so many mistakes you can't even keep a good count. And they are especially good with a few friends or relatives watching with you.

    Los Gatos,...
We watched "Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens" last night.
Stupid beyond belief...it was great! Cameos galore, including a couple of the Baywatch girls alongside David Hasselhoff - a regular in the Sharknado movies.

Be sure to check your brain somewhere before watching! Great fun.

Haven't made it to 4 yet, but started with 1 after hearing Phlash Phelps talking about it on SiriusXM while on a recent road trip (the wife MUST have Phlash on whenever available ...)

1 was pretty bad, I thought -- didn't even finish it. I think they may have still been taking themselves semi-seriously then. But I agree, 2 and 3 were pure campy fun. Lots of cameos by faces you'll recognize. Mark Cuban as POTUS, with Bill Engvall as his Chief of Staff .. who'd'a thunk it?

Pure stupidity. But for some reason, high entertainment. Not too bad SFX, either.

Although there were many references and cameos I couldn't necessarily keep up with I wonder how many got the 1938 DC comic Superman cover ref. That was an effing hoot!

    It's that time, again.

As usual, there are a few premiers throughout the week (and plenty of repeats).

    Sharknado
marathon next Sunday (like last year) leading up to the premiere of the 5th one.

    Enjoy.

Since this series of movies is over, Tara Reid can finally find time to get something to eat!

Yeah, they definitely need to not make any more of these (Sharkado movies)!

Also, as I'm getting older it's getting harder for me to figure out who the ageing "stars" are/were supposed to be (especially the ones with bad surgery). I can't recognize them anymore. (I thought I used to be able to.)

Still enjoying piles of other schlock (past and present) accumulated the last several days, though.
