I recently bought an extra 211 and a tailgater for my camper. I'm back home now and just had Dish connect it to my home system. My intentions are to use it at home and disconnect it and hook to the tailgater when I go camping. I know I could discontinue service to that receiver when not on tailgater but kinda wanted one downstairs anyhow.
Anyhow, when the tech connected me up the receiver had to be reprogrammed for the home dish and settings. I'm assuming I can still take it to the tailgater when needed and then back to home. Dont mind the extra monthly charge for the service so am I missing anything?

You do have to run a check switch each time you move the 211 between the home and the tailgater.
