    This is, at best, a Silver Age of opening titles -- I posit that the Golden Age was the "theme song that tells you everything you need to know about the show" era of the '50s through the '80s.

    Ya, I was gonna say. The 70's - 00's sitcoms / shows had the best openings.

    This was the epitome of what I'm referring to. They were so proud of these lyrics, they put them right on the screen!
