Is anyone planning on watching this latest installment? I must admit to enjoying the last season, but this one, I gotta tell ya, I can't do it.

I've watched all of them except the first season. I must say that a celebrity version seems rather lame though. I'll record it and perhaps if this stike goes on long enough I'll end up watching it if only becasue there is nothing else.

Funny you should ask. I just asked my wife if she was going to watch it with me and I got a flat out no. I am going to give a try.

Well then I wish you all the best. I can't begrudge anyone for watching, although I can't bring myself to do it.

It'll get recorded and then sit as a back-up option on the DVR. Things will get pretty slow once football is over.

If the NBC logo wasn't big enough, now they advertised the 'American Gladiators' throughout the whole broadcast!!!

I couldn't keep my eyes off it ----- 'American Gladiators Sunday 9/8c'

I guess they are trying new advertising technics, since so many people are recording and FF through the commercials.

I saw it. I thought it was cute. Just moment after moment of such BS it's fun to watch.

Does anyone know if they're planning on bringing back any of the previous Apprenti to the show? It seems Bill Rancic is a perennial, but I'd like to see some of the others as well.

Supposedly some big name CEOs will guest this year. Anyone who kisses Trumps butt will be around is my guess. That is the point of the show. :)

Oh dear. Aside from the visual that inspires, you're probably spot on there.

This was awful. I like the Apprentice but F-list celebs calling their G-list friends for donations? I will give it another chance, but I have it on a short leash.

Ok.. I watched the last 10 minutes of the board room. One word why I will not tune in. Omerosa. She is not a celib. She is annoying. She is a joke... She should have been fired and was not.... The Donald, just like the season she was on first, is keeping her for entertainment value and sorry that just rubs me the wrong way.

I tuned in to see if Donald would do the right thing. He did not so goes the show. I was a fan of the show until he started putting his kids on the show and it just got worse when they became regulars. I miss the original panel... I tuned in last night just to see if things improved. I have to say.... In my opinion they took a big dive down.

For people that don't recall Omerosa... Well she is one piece of work and I will leave it at that...

I wouldn't necessarily put Gene Simmons in the same category as Marylou Henner (sp).

I'm pretty sure Gene's still a MULTI-millionaire with a multi-million person fan base that is treated as well as any A-lister out there.

Granted...millions of dollars does not make you an A-lister, but he 'sure ain't no' D-lister.

The right team lost. Omerosa's exit is just a matter of time, yeah she will be around long enough to be the one everyone wants to see voted off (unless the rest of the women set her up for an earlier fall).

I would like to see the contestants SELL HOT DOGS for the money. The way it worked out the guys could have won by setting up their stand outside of Trump Tower. The win had NOTHING to do with the location.

I wonder if there will be a REAL task for them to complete?

    :soapbox:

Yet another Burnett quasi-reality show that is not widescreen HD.

So we have all heard the excuses that HD cameras are expensive and would get destroyed if used on Survivor. I don't buy it, but thats their story and they are sticking too it.

Anyway, this is in New York, not some jungle/3rd world remote location. You also have Mr. Trump who is worth a couple gazillion :money: :money: :money:

Someone needs to stop being such a cheapass and buy some new cameras.

It would be nice to see this show - any show - in HD. I can't imagine that they're oblivious to the fact that they are actually losing viewership because of it. I agree with RobertE.

I also agree with Ron and James. I can't stand Amarosa (pun intended) and think she caused the ladies to falter on their first challenge. They could have been selling lolly pops and the results would have been the same. Her not being eliminated smacks of producer manipulation ... but as James points out, it's just a matter of time before Ms Odious is escorted to the cab.

As for the Celebs... I like 'em all - some familiar, some not. Doesn't matter. It'll be interesting to see how this thing develops and evolves.

Since I'm a captive audience (wife loves the show), I'm looking forward to at least a little more of it.

No one buys their argument. As others have pointed out, if they can do Deadliest Catch in HD, or Beyond the Limit (climbing Mt. Everest), Survivor, etc could do it.

I might watch the show once omerosa is gone. She annoys me.

BUT if this whole show is just going to be about these guys calling their friends for money then I really couldnt care less. I think calling in the "celebs" is really scraping the bottom of the battle. Part of the fun of the show was the fact that these people were fighting for a job...

Considering the writers strike you really would have thought they'd try and air a real competition. But hey, its not even on "real" nbc

I watched the first one, and it was OK. But I don't feel compelled to keep watching.

Celebrity Apprentice is a misnomer. It's a horrible idea, and Trump should know that. It defeats the theme of the show - regular people competing for a job with the Donald.

And on top of that, his first firing is the Playmate. If he's such good friends with Hef, he should have kept her, at least she was likable.

I understand the producers wanting to keep around a "character" but I wont watch the show until omerosa is gone... she pisses me off too much. How does it help them kicking of the pretty girl to leave the annoying one?!?
