That TLE is from yesterday. Still at 102.5584.
Actually not Mudd, but a character named Cyrano Jones, who was uncreatively similar to Harry Mudd, peddled the tribbles.
Harry Mudd peddled intergalactic mail order brides (not necessarily green, but perhaps sometimes), counterfeit patent licenses, whatever other scheme or scam he could make money on, and surrounded himself with sexy android women.
I am not ashamed to be a geek.
Very, very, well done!

...to Fish Man, King of the Geeks!
I wonder if this is why we haven't seen any new channels yet (besides D10 not being where it should be yet).
"Omnibus Systems is in the final stages of deployment of its largest iTX installation for DIRECTV, Inc., the leading satellite television service provider in the United States.
The Omnibus iTX software-based transmission solution will be used for DIRECTV's HD CONUS expansion project, which will enable DIRECTV to initially deliver up to 100 national channels by year-end."
When they say final stages I wonder if that means before thet can do anything with it or some of the capacity is there now and they just need to finish installing all of it?
Anyone still in denial about the launch date of 9/19?
Yes, even more so now that we've learned that Boeing is handing control of D10 over to DirecTV on Wednesday.
That's great news. It takes more than a satellite to get HD to your STB.
Then there are those posts about some D* corporate employee who said they were having "severe problems" with D10 during its testing phase.
What does that make you think that 9/19 is too close, or too far away? Thanks!
Too far. I think we'll see something before then.
I thought it was going to be NO LATER than 9/16, according to several sources on this board.
That's what Eric Shanks said.
I had heard from several people that the Emmy party was on 9/16 and they would already have a few channels up and running BEFORE then...
The main directv website now has info regarding the HD channels (100) to be added by the end of the year. It says that some of these channels will be available by Sept but doesn't specify which ones or when. You can find this info on the left hand side menu under Directv HD NEW!. Enjoy.
I believe he said "on or around" Sept. 16.
Well 2 days have been knocked off--12th and 13th. So 14th - 19th then.
If D goes beyond the 19th, I may have a fit :girlscrea However, there is always the last of Sept. :raspberry
And I still think the day is the 17th .. to coincide with the day after the emmy's (Anticipation is a better marketing tool while availability is the better sales tool ).
Don't be disappointed if Sept. comes and goes without the new HD channels. According to DTV's website, we'll have them simply by the end of the year. http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/contentPageNR.jsp?assetId=P4360042
When will the new HD channels be launched?
DIRECTV will begin launching our new HD programming lineup in September and continue to add new HD channels through the end of 2007. We will announce channels as they become available. Check DIRECTV.com/hd for updated information.
