I know that we just got some new testers here. What i'm wondering is what kind of timeline is the AM21 on? Is there a release date set by D* and they just haven't said it publicly? What are your thoughts about it? It would seem to me as more people want it the more D* would want it on the market. I even got asked about OTA here by a co worker who got the hr21-700.

There is no release date set.
When it is ready to go... it will be out there pretty quickly.

The testing you all do here... is pretty much one of the final pieces to the puzzle... (not necessarily the last... but getting there)

One indicator will be when the AM21 code, makes it into the GA CE's...

That would indicate that things are getting much closer.

    Just my thoughts...

Seems as if it's release is imminent. The additional testing is to see if the other HR21s work as expected.

    I could be wrong...just ask my wife...

wouldn't the code be in the NR before it was released?

    I said closer... not definitive.

Yes, it would have to be in the NR... or pretty darn close (since they can do a full NR in one evening).

I thought someone said that the AM21 was still waiting FCC approval? If so, that would also delay it's debut.

I do believe testing it with the other HR21 models is a sign of progress though, one step closer to release.
