I just noticed now when I pull up the guide, there is a vertical line running through showing time/progress of the show. Any way to turn this off? I hate it!

That line is an extension of the Progress bar -meaning reaming part of the Hour of the show -if you notice the first lline in guide is highlighted blue - the the line extends down the guide of each channel displayed - No way to turn it off as it's part of the display

I thought I would hate it but I don't. It's a great way to see at a glance where you are in the program, and particularly where a program does not start/end on the half hour. My family like it also.

It’s a nice idea but I like how it was done in software 1088 and earlier. Instead of a neon blue line, just shade each cell up to the current time a slightly different color. Though in this version they completely redone the cells. Only the selected channel has somewhat of a cell appearance where the unselected is just a grid with no back fill color.

It is nice we can scroll through the guide whereas Spectrum (cable) your always centered in the middle and the guide moves around that middle point. Though they have 7 lines, 3 on top and 3 below of “center row”.

I didn't like it at first, but have grown to like it.

Let's face it .... As DirecTV tweaks their new user interface menus, some folks will hate, and some folks will love.

I like it, I find it kind of interesting. Too much "hate" these days.

I think that the white reference at the top is all that's needed to see where you are in real time. Not a big deal for me though.

I'm glad AT&T doesn't produce the operating system on the mobile phones they sell. Glad they leave that up to the professionals like Apple and Google. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to customize a damn thing!
