It would be interesting to get data points from people in various areas of California, as well as surrounding states to see how large of an area is affected. Maybe then we could guess as to the cause.

They're posted on the iamanedgecutter.com site nowadays.

But you may have to register first to access them on the "Resources Forum" there.

The bottom of Post #1 of this thread has a link to the most current TPN Maps. [Directv US Domestic, Directv Latin America, or Directv Mexico.]

You don't have to register or anything else unless you choose to.

For 11/1/2017, we have both a new Domestic TPN Map and a new Latin (DLA) TPN Map and their Change Analysis worksheets.

A Special Sunday Analysis of the 12/31/2017 Domestic Data

We have had interest in seeing the TPN Data with NFL Sunday Ticket in full swing. So Doctor J provided a full capture today, 12/31, while 16 HD and 16 SD NFL Domestic channels were up and Puerto Rico had 3 HD and 10 SD NFL channels in operation.

The Analysis Excel post provides Complete Change Detail and provides a look at the shifting of Active channels to Offline so that the preconfigured NFL channels can be remapped from Offline to Active.

See the link in Post #1 of this thread.

The link to the TPN Map source is at the bottom of Post #1 - the first post of this thread.

Give me an hour and we will have the fresh 1/24/18 TPN Map up for you.

Also - the last post in that source thread with the TPN Map provides an Analysis Excel of the changes since the previous Weekly report.

A fresh, 1/27/2018 TPN Map is posted. There are now 15 Puerto Rico channels in *Test on D5, along with 11 MusicChoice channels.

We are witnessing the de-loading of SW1 !

With this 2/28/18 posting, the TPN Map semantics for the Hybrid page have changed. The data is not significantly different, only our wording has been modified.

    Some very significant changes today:

It appears D15 is finally alive, providing service to Puerto Rico. It also appears that SW1 is now out of service. Remember, SW1 has been re-purposed and is slated to provide communications service (not Directv service) for Alaska.

Also, for the first time since November, 2009, the database of OTA channels has been updated with nearly 100 new records. For the past decade, only changes within the existing OTA records have been made.

The link to the current data is in Post #1 of this thread.

An update for OTA fans: with this week's data, 16 DMAs had about 135 new channels added to the Directv OTA database. After a long, long dryspell, it appears good things are happening.

Now they just need to get the OTA dongle out.

    Completely agree there ....

Don't really see what the holdup might be on a release.

I mean, it's not exactly like usb ATSC OTA tuner dongles are anything new or novel nowadays.

Sign, ... oh well, ... luckily we held on to our old AM21s here and they're all still chugging along to take advantage of the large extension of OTA sub-channels in the DIRECTV database for the LA market.

ATSC 3.0 would be a good reason to wait for a compatible dongle.
