TV Apps gone for almost a week

    The TV Apps has now been missing on most receivers/DVR's for almost a week now; by most, it was for a few days earlier this week 'hit or miss' on the HR20-100's, but anything newer (I only have an HR22-100 and HR24-500 currently connected which are on the same f/w load) has never 'reappeared' unless I missed it popping up and right back down again.

    Other 'internet' based things like 'on demand' and 'restart the program from the beginning' work fine on all machines, getting the 'currently unavailable try again later' message on all with the TV Apps.

    It's possible that there was some problems with bringing up the Wimbelton 'system' (which is working just fine) that was interferring with the TV Apps system. Unknown, but since it (the TV Apps) died right as the Wimbelton went 'live', it's a good possibility.

    Have you done a soft (menu) reset on any of your receivers?

    That seems to have done the trick for most of us.

    Done on all; may have been the 'trick' that got the HR20-100 to work for a day or so, then it went back to being dead, tried it again multiple times with no effect. Zero on both the HR22-100 and the HR24-500 after yet more reboots over the last 6+ days.

    I usually select the restore defaults on the network settings menu and wait a couple of minutes and then usually the tv apps come back. Have you tried that?

    Consider yourself lucky. That junk just slows down the receivers.
