God bless America!
I don't care where FS2 is. As long as it's carrying AFL I'll find it.
214 is MLB Network Alternate. What will happen to that one?
Also, what about Fox Sports 2?
that fuel tv, so that easy to move
Fox 1 website has taken down the channel listing
219 Fox Soccer Plus / FS+ / FS3
221 alt 1
223 alt 2
224 alt 3
225 alt 4
226 alt 5
also been labeled NHL network alt.
Good news on more sports. Glad to have Fox Sports 1 and 2. Excuse me for being a snob, but they will be in HD, right?
Speed and Fuel are HD ... so continuing in HD as FS 1 and FS 2 is a reasonable expectation.
Thanks. I should have just looked. Can you tell I don't watch those? Never too much college football, and I go to 7 or 8 games a year. Thanks again for the quick answer.
I see my girl Charissa Thompson and her sexy legs previously from espn will be working on Fox S1....droolll...
Good to know that DirecTV and FS1 were able to navigate around that whole 'I don't want to pay for channels I don't watch, so make them ala-carte' argument...the thing that seems to be an obstacle for other sports channels.
So glad to hear we are getting FS1. I bet Cable One in the Boise, ID area is screaming this AM as all the advertising dollars they spent in the past few weeks telling subscribers to switch from DirecTV to Cable One since they carried FS1 and the local fans wouldn't be able to see the Boise State/Univ of Wash game on DirecTV. I know of at least two sports bars in the local area that were scrambling to get a Cable One feed hook up so they wouldn't loose customers for the game. I guess they will just keep the hook-up on stand-by in case we loose the signal on DirecTV!
Fox posted the link to the press release announcing the deal on their FB page:
Channel 219 is the location of Fox sports 1 on 8/17
Right now Speed is available with the Choice Package and above and Fuel is available with the Xtra Package and above. Does anyone know if that means that FS1 will be available to Choice subscribers but if you want to get FS2 you will need to subscribe to Xtra, or might that change? Thanks.
219 is MAVTV.
I think it is staying on 607 but I have nothing to back that up.
I can't imagine Cable One here in Boise ever having a sports channel that DirecTV doesn't. Cable One has to be the worst cable company in the US these days, they make Comcast look good.
I am very curious to hear what package this is going to be in too, if Fox is serious about becoming an ESPN competitor and meeting their subscriber numbers, they might have taken a little less to be in the Entertainment package. That's what I am hoping anyway.
