Is it safe to assume that they may be located in both new and old channel locations for a small period of time. 219/607, 2xx/618?

So when do you think the guide will be updated with the Fox Sports 1 programming? I would like to record their College Football Preview show that is airing at 6 am eastern tomorrow. Not getting up at 5 am local time on a Saturday to watch it. :nono:

A few days ago when they changed some channels numbers my favorites was corrected also. I did not have anything set to record so I can't verify that but it is a good possibility that it will update.
The switch is at 6 am tomorrow morning.

I thought the guide data was already updated. It is the channel number that is not. With the switch over, you can probably just program it now.

i hope not, at that is the method that plays havoc with recording settings.

It doesn't matter if they're paying attention...the PAC 12 CANNOT ask for a lower price from DirecTV because that would undercut their deals with everyone else that have already agreed to the reasonable price (like Dish Network and most of the major Cable companies). DirecTV is the one that is being cheap on this.

Your opinion. That cost is to high period IMHO and I want the darn channel like crazy. Put it in the sports pack where it belongs and we are all good.

My opinion, and most of the providers agree with me that the Pac 12 is asking a reasonable amount. DirecTV is the largest holdout for some reason.

Just because they agreed to carry it doesn't necessarily mean that they agree that it's a reasonable amount. IMO even one cent is too much if it is going to be passed on to me since I don't want to pay for something I won't watch. Either offer it ala carte or put it in the sports pack.

    Winters,...
That they signed a deal doesn't mean anything of the kind.

I think you know the reasons DIRECTV® did not sign.

PAC-12 (PAC stand for Pacific Athletic Conference, does it not?) management have proven to be manipulative as well as greedy.

My guide is still showing the programming for MAVTV on 219 and still Speed programs on 607. Somewhere else I should be looking? Do I need to do a restart on my DVR?

In FS1's world, eyeballs & carriage are more important than revenue for now. PAC-12 has taken the opposite approach, revenue is more important than eyeballs and we the consumer suffer for it.

I saw FS1 programming and other stuff if you go out in the guide. Looks like the FS2 programming isn't changing that quickly.

Wait until after 6 am Saturday morning and then look at your guide.
I feel like our Favorite with 607 in it will then have the 219 in it's place.

OK, Here is what I have discovered this morning.

The new channel 219 is in my favorites.

When I am in the Guide and look at 219HD I see the shows that I have Series set up to record by seeing the orange record symbol by the program.
When I go to Series Manager, I see those Series and the channel number listed is 607HD Speed. However, when you press the Info button on one of the selections the information comes up showing it is set to record on 219HD.

618HD now shows that it is FS2HD in place of the old FuelHD.
